TRON GAMING had it’s first Meetup (Meetup.com) on Wednesday for the release of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. We had a very good turn out I would say (about 20 people). As people showed up they quickly joined in on the conversation. Most of which was about how cool the new races are. Me being the sexy Rogue that I am was just talking about how cool my gear was and that I don’t wanna go back to Green’s . Tilo (the WoW Meetup organizer) ordered us some pizza which was very cool of her. TRON GAMING gave all the meetup people that showed up that day a free hour of net game time to try out BC. Some people used that free time a roll a new race. I had a really good time meeting with new people and hopefully our next meetup will be even better. Before we start here’s a little history on Vultron: From days of long ago, from uncharted regions of the universe, comes a legend. The legend of Voltron: Defender of the Universe! A mighty robot. Loved by good, feared by evil. As Voltron’s legend grew, peace settled across the galaxy. On planet Earth, a galaxy alliance was formed. Together with the good planets of the solar system, they maintained peace throughout the universe. Until a new horrible menace threatened the galaxy. Voltron was needed once more. This is the story of the super force of space explorers. Specially trained and sent by the Alliance to bring back Voltron: Defender of the Universe. Now on to my story.

One morning I logged on to WoW and there were quite a few guildies on chatting it up so, I joined in on the fun and headed for the AH. Now I’m in the AH now trying to making some gold before the X-Pac comes out and my guildies are calling each other by their real names and logging onto their ALT’s back and forth. I’m like who’s Jen ??? Who’s Sue ??? Who’s Lisa ??? Who’s Blueberrie ??? Who the hell is… (some other name that I can not remember now) ???. Then they all start to laugh at me and continue to call each other by their RL name so… I was like F*%k this S*%t followed by some more LOL’s and one of them said “why don’t you just make a list”. So I did !!! But instead of making it of their RL names or even their in game names I renamed them names that I could remember. Vultron names!!! Cameo is now Blue Lion, Reena is now Pink Lion, Nada is now Yellow Lion, Gaudess is now Green Lion, Ilaeria is now Red Lion and, I’m Black Lion. Together we form Voltron: Defender of the Universe. So Gaudess logs on later that day to find out that I renamed some of my guildmates and I told her not to worry that I have a name for her to. LOL. She was so happy to hear that so I told her what her new name was and she was like “what the hell is a Green Lion”??? I told her it was from Vultron “What the hell is a Vultron???” I told her and all of them to google it so I guess they did and not 15 minutes later I got tells to the tune of WTF dude!!! I’m a dude??? Why am I the fat guy??? Why did you give us guy names??? The only person that did NOT /w me was Reena because I guess she liked the idea that I made her a princess(LOL). I told them that I didn’t give them guy names, I named them Lions, Not the people in the Lions. I think that Vultron is a Idea not a person. They were like ohhh… ok I guess. I told them just be happy that they did not get the Mexican wrestling names I came up with first (LOL). So now we are Vultron and Vultron need an enemy so, I made Aranon (our GM) my enemy cause he’s always PWN’ing me in duels . Till next time this is NIEVES saying

So my guild had a great idea to have a Warlock leveling contest for the month of October. No one really got into it till after I rolled a toon (who from this moment on shall be named “HOLLABACGIRL” ) and then ppl were coming out of the woodwork. I say this because right after I rolled “HOLLABACGIRL” I had her join my guild (Incite) which in my mind was the wrost move I could have made bacause I think that sparked other ppl to roll a Warlock plus I think ppl were spying on me . So this is the post for the contest:

What is it?A warlock leveling contest!! Level a warlock to lvl 20, park him in any of the world dragon boss spots (feralas, ashenvale, duskwood, hinterlands). Blasted Lands if you want the demon. The player with the least /play “playtime” will be the winner.Objective-

A little spice to our ordinary raiding scheudle. Having warlocks in place to help summon the guild and check on world dragons will be a plus and gives us a chance to go for these world bosses as well.

Requirements -

You must have a lvl 20 warlock at one of these spots, take a screen shot with your bags open with at least 20 shards and the screenshot must also show a “/play” so we can see your playtime. Submit and post the screenshot in this thread.

So I said to myself “Self you can win this!!! and that way Aranon (our GM) would have to finally give you that hug you’ve always wanted” LOL . I started the quests and tried to do everything as fast as possible but, I’ve never played a Warlock before so I really had no idea what to do with her so, I started to play her the only way I knew how (like a Rogue ). Just in case some of you don’t know Warlocks don’t have a “Vanish” button so after I got to LVL 6 or 7 that strat did’nt work out so well . Fast forward to LVL 11 where I had “NIEVES” (my real Rogue) search the AH for greens and blues to help me along in Westfall. I’m in Westfall doing some of the quest and got my first group going to help me quest. All is well in the World of Warcraft or so I thought… One night I could not sleep so I get out of bed and head right to my computer and log on. I logged on and checked my guild tab to see what other sleepless ppl from my guild were on and low and behold who the hell do I see in Westfall ??? A LVL 60 Hunter (not gonna say any names DROGAN!!!). So I’m like hey cheatyface what you doing in Westfall to the reply of running Illeria and Vellerran thru VC. I was like NO!!! please!!! what the hell man!!! don’t be A cheatyface!!! Then he asked if I wanted to join so, I said sure . It was like a 15 min VC run. LOL. The next day I go to TRON GAMING and log onto WoW and look over my shoulder at my buddy’s screen and I see a LVL 60 Priest (Kachiko) run right past him in Westfall. I tell him to /w her and ask what was that cheatyface doing in Westfall. I thought she was helping someone with their Warlock but, she said she was just picking flowers. I think she got a little upset about me calling her “cheatyface” because for like the next 10 min she was /w’ing me and my buddy (Iknowuwantme) asking us what we meant by cheatyface and why did I call he that. I reached LVL 20 in 17hrs 54min. I was stoked. I waited till the last min to post my pic. I saw other ppl’s posts and 1 was better than mine (which was Bloodcat’s time of 16hr 14min) so I said to myself not bad 2nd place is still cool.

I log into WoW on Monday (one day before the contest was over) to find that Someone had a time of 12hr 1min. I was like WTH!!! How can I beat that??? how did he do it??? So I re-roll another toon “TRONGAMING” and proceed to try and beat that time. LVL 1 to 10 in 3hr 47min going well I think. I take a break and log onto NIEVES and Nadiia (later named as 12HR Boy) was on so, I asked how the hell did he do it and he replyed “I dual boxxed it” I can’t tell you how pissed I was at that time cause I just spent my Holloween night at the store trying to win an unwinable contest . I was pissed the whole night and part of the next day till someone asked if I had a fun time and I said yes. Then he asked why was I so pissed I did well for my first try at a Warlock (he was right). All in all I had a great time and got a prize to play a new class .

So I wanted to come to MC this week (Me and my class leader Ruth had a talk about guild progression that prompted this). I believe that Ruth was raid leader that night which was another reason why I went to the raid. He moves the raid fast which is great for me cause I get bored in MC.

So we buff up and processed to kick MC in the ass. Killed the first two bosses and on our way to the 3rd boss when I noticed that these mobs were dropping a lot of Epic BOE’s. I think by the end of the night we had six(6) to seven(7) Epic BOE’s maybe even eight(8). We had a clean kill on Garr. So we loot him and happy, happy joy, joy . I got my first ever loot from Garr. The Quick Strike Ring (http://thottbott.com/?i=37360) I was hopping for the Brutality Blade but, was very happy with the ring (my AP is now 866). We then went on to Shazzrah and got in ‘em. Looted him and then I got a second item. My Nightslayer Boots (http://thottbott.com/?i=37360). I was a happy Rogue that night. We then went on to clear MC in like two and one half hours. Since I lost my week on Sunday I saw no point in watching the Monday night game (Ravens Vs. Broncos) so, I got my lazy butt over to AQ40 to kill some badies and get the phat loots . Got buffed up then we started to wreck house. We one shotted Skeram and got some good loots. So I’m waiting to loot this item that gives you Brood REP and low and behold Saveu is naked. I was like hey what the hell are you doing naked and he said that someone hacked his account (frowns). The only thing he had was the two ZG items that can’t be disenchanted and the Benediction. Kinda funny and sad all at the same time. Now on to the trash mobs and the next boss. We killed the mobs and wiped on the 2nd boss. The end (It’s 4:17am here in New York). So it’s Football Sunday and I just lost my week by two Fu*$ing points (Damn Marty ball). Ok now that I got that Out of my system on to some WoW . It’s 6:00pm server time and I’m on my way to Ony (no sexy summon for me) caues I wanted to get there before anyone else. We got underway about 6:30 or so. We buffed up and wrecked house. That had to have been the fastest Ony fight ever even with the millions and millions of whelps coming from the left side. Got some good loots then we were off to AQ40 (YAY!!!). I say Yay because I get some good REP from random mobs there (100 per dude) plus I like to learn new content. Everyone ported back to IF to repair and such but, I’m just really interested in the little envelope that popped up next to my mini map while we were kicking the crap outta Ony (that means gold for daddy).

So we get to AQ40 and get to killin’ right away which is fine by me cause me Rogue me like to kill. AQ mounts are droping like crazy but, I held off on rolling becaues I wanted my blue AQ mount (to match my NY GIANTS fetish. GO GIANTS!!!). So like three to four blue mounts drop (along with many other ones) and I got one of them. We buff up and then on the the 1st boss. My job for the night was to stay up top and do ranged DPS. Our 1st try was going great till about 25% then blah… the copies just went crazy and wiped us. Rez and run back. Same thing for like 5 tries. I was getting sleepy plus I was still pissed about losing my week in fantasy football so I called it a night. A “Good luck to all” and I stoned back to IF then logged. SO I was on time for the BWL raid after going to the gym (did’nt think I was going to make it).  The post was for 10:00pm New York time which is a better time for me to raid .  We were full by like 10:05pm I think.  A lot of DPS and a good amount of healers (two great tastes that go great together).  So we buff’ed up and got in our spot to listen to the new strat we will be using tonight.  It was pretty much the same for us Rogues but instead of us only killin’ the Mages will would have to kill the Orc’s as well.  Which is fine by me .  What can I say I’m a Rogue that likes to kill things.  We started the event and I can’t tell you how great this new strat was working out for us.  All the eggs were down in no time and so was Razagore.  Now on to the next fight.  I told my fellow guild mates on VENT not to worry that I won’t Aggro that room with the Goblins this time (I got a few ha ha’s and a few noob’s from my guildies) but, as soon as I say that someone eles did (LOL).  So we run in and again save the day .  We then buff’ed up and proceed to have the fastest Vael fight ever.  It was like he just said “Boo” and we died.  Which was pretty funny to me.  The 2nd try was like we said “Boo” and then he died.  Got some good loots and then on to the next boss.

  We killed this guy crazy fast too then on to he next boss.  I was starting to get sleepy so this was my last fight B4 I went home (I was still at the store).  Took this mofo down just as easy then got some good loots. 

  I woke up today on logged on to the Incite web page to find out that we 1 shoted BWL.  Thats crazy good for us as a guild hopefully soon we can get into NAXX.  Yummy .

o it’s Friday night and I just got my weeky massage and while I was getting dressed I noticed the time (9:05pm New York). I said to myself damn I’m going to miss yet another raid this week. So I ran out of the spa dodged two cars and made it back to Neutral Ground where TRON Gaming is located at. (more…)

I’m a LVL 60 Dwarf Rogue on the Uther server.  I’ve been playing WoW for about 63 total days now.  I’ve been apart of three guilds thus far and this Blog is going to be a living testament of my time with my latest Guild (Incite).  This is my first Blog so I hope that ppl like the travels of “NIEVES” and that I don’t make to much of an ass of myself  .  I app ‘ed to Incite in August.  The app process was pretty painless but, I pulled my app once so I had to re app and start over from the beginning.  After three weeks of raiding MC, Ony and, trying our hand at BWL I was “tagged”.  After one is “tagged” the app process continues with a more in depth look at the player (how he/she plays with others, what skills they bring to the guild, would they help out other guildies and, their attitude).  I was working a lot so I could not raid most nights w/the guild and found myself grinding in Silithus for my  Earthstirke (http://thottbott.com/?i=52548) which did not give me a lot of time to get to know the other members or more importantly let the other members get to know me.  For me the app process took longer for this reason but, after about a 6 to 7 week wait I made member .

So here’s how it went down (me getting “tagged”).  On 9.20.06 I log onto WoW and go strait to the AH (like any other time) to check my auctions and such.  I’m looking at the auctions and not even paying attention to guild chat.  So I’m doing my thing which is making gold  and I hear ppl on VENT saying he’s AFK, he’s not even paying attention and when will he notice.  Then I say on VENT what the hell are you yahoo’s talking about to the reply hey read guild chat.  So I scroll up to the top and start reading down and low and behold BINGO!!!  I made member and I wasn’t even there to see it.  LOL.  I read all the Gratz from ppl whispering me and my our guildies in guild chat.  I was very happy that night.  Well till next time this is NIEVES saying “Rogues do it from behind” .
